I betcha no one else in the whole world has done what I just did. I sat in my 62-degree kitchen (at the end of May, and no air conditioning exists in my house) and split a can of olives with my 4-year old. The olives were a bedtime snack. The kitchen was frigid because my husband had his camera pointed out the window for several hours at the hummingbirds. They seem to be very active when it's rainy and almost dark.
I usually pray for rain for my birthday, maybe this year I'll ask for some sun. :)

That's what having a daughter is all about... eating and talking. You're doing a great job, Momma. :)
Love it! :D Olives for a midnight snack... that sounds good, I'll have to remember that. :D
