No pix, just bragging rights
The surprise photography contest win left me wondering, "How many prizes have I missed out on simply because I didn't try?" So I utilized my retired English Professor Father-in-Law as my editur, and submitted an essay to the Alumni Essay Contest for the Junior College I went to. I won 3rd place! This is a long way to come for the girl who dropped out of races she could have won at high school track meets, solely out of debilitating anxiety about competition. Three cheers for anti-anxiety therapy!!! :)
